Daytime Look #1: Outdoor “I do’s”

Over the past few years, I’ve been to a wedding held in a pasture, one in a desert clearing, and one in a courtyard. What to wear to these unique outdoor affairs? I suggest something comfortable and lightweight, like this ultra-feminine cotton sundress. Scroll up to the first picture in this post for a peek at the adorable bow detail on the back! Nordstrom, $158

Daytime Look #2: Breezy Beachside

If you’ve got a beach wedding on your calendar, you’ve got to get a Lilly Pulitzer dress—it’s a no-brainer. I love the bright print and glittering neckline of this classic shift, which will serve you well as a vacation dress throughout the summer months! Nordstrom, $228

Daytime Look #3: Gracious Garden

Bright florals give this stunning silhouette a warm-weather-ready flair – pair with strappy wedges for traipsing through the grass at a garden wedding. And bonus for the short girls like me: this one comes in petites! Anthropologie, $375

Daytime Look #4: Morning Mass

If you’re attending a wedding in a house of worship, you’ll want to go for a more modest look. Simply chic and radiating elegant vintage charm, this feminine frock cut from two-color floral lace is detailed at the waist with a delicate contrast tie for figure-flattering appeal. Nordstrom, $395

Daytime Look #5: Big City Bash

If you’ll be celebrating in a big city like New York or L.A., go for a fashion-forward look! Embroidered spots traced with scalloped curtains of fluffy fringe offer a playful look and thick texture to this standout minidress. Nordstrom, $195

If you’ll be attending an evening affair, read on for five more options!

Heading to a country club wedding? You can’t go wrong with a classic lace dress, and I love this one for its unique trumpet skirt and heel-friendly length! Nordstrom, $129.98

A fancy hotel wedding calls for a fancy dress! Show off your collarbone in this off-the-shoulder gown in gorgeous bright blue. Bloomingdales, $249

Are you celebrating a couple that loves to party? Then dress to impress and dance the night way! A jumpsuit is the perfect choice for a festive, fun affair. This bright, wide-legged jumpsuit flows beautifully and ties at the waist for a flattering fit. Nordstrom, $99

Bonus: If you only get one dress this wedding season…

Make it this one!
