Fun Freebies for New and Expecting Moms

If you have a baby on the way and are looking for some freebies, check this out!

Whether it’s the first time, last time, or anything in between, bringing a new baby into the world is expensive – no matter how you slice it! Sometimes it can be overwhelming and not not the most fun thing to think about, but you know what is fun?! Free!

And you’re in luck because there are some great companies offering lots of freebies to new and expecting parents. I loved a birthday goody bag as a kid, and this feels like the adult equivalent! So, check out the list below and snag yourself some swag!

From your Registries

1. Target

Target is every mom’s happy place! So it’s no surprise that they take care of their mama’s with a welcome gift worth over $100 filled with coupons and samples for you and baby! All you have to do is create a baby registry at Target, and then stop by Guest Services on your next Target run to request yours – I recommend calling ahead first since they are subject to availability. Get started here!

2. Walmart

Create a registry at Walmart to receive their welcome box full of goodies from some of our favorite brands! After creating your registry, fill out this simple form and you’re good to go! The thing I love most about Walmart’s registry gift is their new box made just for postpartum moms! So, when you sign up for the Baby Registry Welcome Box opt-in to receive emails about Walmart’s upcoming registry boxes and be on the lookout for the e-mail during your 3rd trimester!

3. Amazon

Amazon’s welcome box is worth $35 and includes surprise products for baby and parents! There are a few (easy) hoops to jump through, but I think they’re worth it! Active Prime Members will need to create a baby registry, add 60% of the items on your Checklist, and have over $10 of purchases from your registry (by you or others). Click here for more info!

From Long-time Favorite Brands

1. Enfamil

Even if you don’t plan to use formula for your baby it’s not a bad idea to do your research and snag some samples to have on hand! Sign up with Enfamil’s Family Beginnings program to get tons of freebies, coupons, and super cute milestone stickers!

2. Similac

Similac will send new parents over $400 worth of samples and coupons when you sign up for their reward program! Along with all the freebies, Similac will also gift you a free Shutterfly book to help preserve your baby’s precious moments.

3. Motherhood Maternity

Join the adorably named Preggie Perks and receive samples and coupons from water wipes, baby brezza, buybuyBABY, and more! Of course, there will be plenty of coupons you can use to snag yourself some new wardrobe options from Motherhood Maternity. There are no fees to pay or points to earn, so it’s a super easy program to use!

Books For Baby

1. Dolly Parton Imagination Library

This beyond-amazing program was founded by the legend herself! It is widely available (but not quite everywhere, yet) so visit the website and check if it is in your area. If it is, you’ll be eligible to receive free, high-quality books for your baby from birth to age 5!

2. The CDC

The CDC has partnered with Lysol, Bright Futures, Reach Out and Read, and some fabulous authors to provide several free books for your baby that can be ordered in English or Spanish! Just visit the site and order at no cost! These do occasionally go out of stock, so be sure to check back if that’s the case!

Karly is a native South Floridian and lives there with her awesome husband, their extremely busy 3 kiddos, and goofy Goldendoodle. She is a former middle school teacher and is now working the full-time stay-at-home mom game. When Karly is not chauffeuring her kids to and from school or cheering them on in their numerous activities, she really enjoys spending any quiet time reading a good book, baking, taking a sweaty workout sesh, or grabbing a cup of coffee with a friend! She loves to host and plan events of all types, but her favorite thing to host is rowdy, overly competitive game nights with friends!
