✨ Traditions are ever-evolving, so whether you are the Mother of the Bride or the Groom, it is most important to have a conversation with the newly engaged couple to understand their wishes and make a game plan with everyone involved.

🫶🏼 Most importantly here is your reminder to be Mom -- lend an ear to listen when planning gets tough, remind guests of proper etiquette if needed, provide support however it is needed, and celebrate your child finding the love of their life.

Here are a few things that you should be checking off the list:
✨ Invites ordered -- depending on deadlines and travel, try to send at least eight to twelve weeks before your wedding day.
✨ Confirm vendors -- if you don't have a planner or wedding coordinator, ensure all your vendors are confirmed & know who your day of contact is.
✨ Florals & decor -- finalize any selection for florals & decor.
✨ Attire -- make sure you have all your dress fittings & alterations scheduled. Confirm the bridal party has all their arrangements made as well.
✨ Bachelorette & shower -- typically these events are held anywhere from five months to three weeks before the wedding. Don't forget to celebrate you!
