“Fall In Love” Bridal Shower Recipes & Decor

Beautiful table setting with pumpkins in dining room

I fell in love with Jon Moss during the fall of 2013 in our little college town that always looked the prettiest during October and November. Crisp leaves, trips to the pumpkin patch, hot apple cider and warm scarves still bring me back to that first fall we spent together. Fall is a romantic time of year, and even if your love story didn’t begin in a swirl of falling leaves and roaring bonfires, it is a great backdrop for a sweet bridal shower.

Fall Bridal Shower Recipes

Your Fall in Love bridal shower menu should be reflective of fall favorites. Each of these recipes are an elevated spin on fall’s necessary treats.

Caramel Apple Sangria

Who said sangria was just a summer drink? Adding caramel flavored vodka to this favorite drink gives it a fall spin and makes enjoying a caramel apple much less messy.

Fall Bridal Shower Decor

Keep the decor simple and reflective of the season. Think pumpkins, burlap, plaids and candles. Maybe even have a roaring fire!

Pumpkin Tablescape

If you’re serving a full meal like the chili and cornbread, you’ll want to set a bountiful fall table. Consider running pumpkins in varying sizes and colors down the center, and weaving greenery or dried leaves and berries throughout. We love the multitude of neutral colors with pops of orange and green. You can even write name cards on some fall leaves to adorn each place setting at the table.

Floral Centerpieces

If you’re opting for a cocktail style bridal shower of appetizers and desserts, you’ll want decor spread throughout the party space. Hollow out a few fake pumpkins and fill them with fall flowers like dahlias or mums. Add sprigs of greenery, succulents or fall berries and place the arrangements on the food table.

Apple Baskets

Apple baskets are a versatile (and budget savvy!) decoration idea. I love them painted white with a burlap ribbon, but they also work beautifully as is. Use them to serve sides or desserts. Fill them with potted flowers or fall leaves. They’d look great outside a front door or in an entryway as guests come into the bridal shower.

Dessert Bar

Display those mini pies and delicious donuts in an adorable way like the photo above. Bales of hay can be used indoors or out, and a draped burlap blanket adds a cozy touch. You can print your own burlap banners or find ones with fall sayings like this one. Wooden crates or upturned galvanized tubs add height and extra space for displaying all your sweet treats.
